Foz de Igauzu

Wow, wow, wow. Photos can never do this place justice. The Foz is situated on the borders between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Ideally you spend one day on the Argentinian side (great for getting up close to the falls themselves) and then one day at the Brazil side (better for photos). My pictures below are from the Argentinian side. At lunch time we hopped in a boat that takes visitors right up the bottom of one of the largest falls to get soaked and scream like a girl. Then upriver and onto a truck that brings you through some the rainforest. The weather is HOT but will lash rain suddenly. We had a thunderstorm every night!
Saturday afternoon we left Foz to start our 18 hour bus trip to Buenos Aires, where we are now. Argentinian buses are amazingly comfortable, the seats will recline almost flat. After a few hours we make a pitstop where everyone is fed and given a glass of champagne (all included in your fare) and then back on to watch some films (Transporter 3 and Beowolf, both pretty bad).
So, 2 days in Buenos now and its by far my favourite spot on the trip so far. Very European but very cheap - 20 euro for a 2 steak meals with drinks!
Off for our free Spanish lesson in the hostel now, Ciao!
